| Fellow xlr8ers, 3Ders and PSers: Mike has agreed [gladly!-Mike] to give us a forum here for discussions, reviews, how-to pages, etc. on high-end digital imaging on the Mac. [Two Reviews - Infini-D 4.5 and Form-Z have been posted recently] We're not sure exactly what the format will be yet, depending on the grass roots response, but we're both very excited about the possibility of creating yet another resource that demonstrates the superiority and solidarity of the Mac community, while providing aid for the growing numbers of us that have to learn to use new tools on the job, under pressure and with little formal tech support. As you are no doubt aware, Mike will most likely continue to be swamped with his current load, and so it will be up to us to run this (although, given his bent, I'd be surprised if he doesn't get sucked in like the rest of us). I have volunteered to spend three hours a day on this and my specialty would be PhotoShop. If you have experience, and/or interest in participating formally or informally, or ideas on how you think the area could be structured, drop us a line. Again, as Mike is busy with tech mail, I'd like to at least attempt to front end this. If your comments are general, or not for 'Mike's eyes only', send them to me at david.klett@micro-neil.com. I'll survey the results, pass them on to Mike and we'll post info back here as soon as we can. If the e-mails are not in the hundreds, I'll try to answer as many as I can. If you don't get a response, don't be hurt. Don't panic. I/we are not ignoring you. Remember, this site is visited by millions every month and I'm new at this.
