Another FYI on Sapphire Radeon 7950 ROM Switch: (updated)
The Feb. 28th news had info on a Radeon 7950 ROM Switch Tip to fix problems with Displayport not working after the OS X 10.9.2 update. (Making sure switch set to EFI, not UEFI/PC.) However a later reply in that thread from one Sapphire Radeon 7950 owner said his switch seemed to be wired in reverse - in the correct (EFI) position (per manual), OS X System info reported it as "Radeon 7xxx"; reversing the switch resulted in the correct "Radeon 7950" ID. (If it's not a mistake in reading the position info, I suspect this is rare unless there's a batch with reversed switches or a misprint.)
  Update: More posts in that thread today, including another saying their card also appears to be reversed from the earlier notes. (Bottom line of course is if your card is working ok, don't change anything. If you find Displayport output is not working in 10.9.2, try changing the switch position to see if that helps.)
  And yet another update from a Sapphire 7950 owner that had said regardless of switch position he gets no startup screen. (Appeared to be a bad switch. (Mac) EFI position should show a startup screen.) A warranty replacement card had the same problem he said. (2 in a row with bad switches?)
