FYI from CPU Upgraded 2006 Mini owner on OS X 10.7.5 Update
Added a follow-up/FYI to our 2006-08 Mac Mini CPU/Firmware/Lion Upgrades page saying his OS X 10.7.5 upgrade (from 10.7.4) reinstalled the supported models plist. (Deleted it and said otherwise 10.7.5 seems ok so far.) Includes link to his original report from May on his 2.33GHz Core2Duo CPU/2,1 EFI Firmware/Lion upgraded 2006 mini.

2012 MacBook Pro EFI 2.9 Update Fixes SATA3 SSD in Optical Bay Issues?
Sponsor OWC is reporting Wednesday's EFI 2.9 update for Mid-2012 MacBook Pros seems to have fixed 6Gb/s SSD Issues in the Optical bay of 13in 2012 MacBook Pros.
(Apple also released EFI updates for Mid-2012 MacBook Air and Retina Macbook Pro, plus an SMC update for Late-2010 MacBook Airs on Wednesday. If anyone finds any undocumented pros or cons in those let me know.)

Any Natively Supported USB 3.0 Cards with latest OS Updates?
A reader asked if anyone had tested for any native USB3 cards (PCIe/Expresscard) using the latest OS X (10.7.5/10.8.2) updates. (AppleUSBXHCI.kext)
Maybe some vendor that has a selection of cards and macs can test for that. (I'll try asking OWC also.)
