Nvidia Driver Update 343.01.01f03 for OS X 10.10.0 (Yosemite)
3rd driver update that hopefully really does fix the "CUDA update required" issue using previous (f01/f02) graphics drivers. Here's the download page for Nvidia's 343.01.01f03 Mac driver update for OS X 10.10.0. (Available sooner via the Nvidia control panel update check.)
(Assume f03 was the update mentioned in this post on an Nvidia Driver update (again) possibly fixing "CUDA Update Required" issue seen with f02/f01 drivers. Later confirmed it was f03, but I wish driver versions were included in comments about updates/fixes.)
FYI/Update: Readers John (2008 Mac Pro/GT-120), Davead (2009 Mac Pro/GT-120) and Brian (2012 Mac Pro/GTX-570 w/mod) said they're still seeing the same 'CUDA Update required' with f03 drivers. (Same as with f01 and f02.) And 2 later posts in that Apple forum thread (including a Quadro 4000 user) also said f03 hasn't fixed the problem for them either.
Workaround/Switching Driver: As mentioned earlier, until a fix is released some switch to the "OS X Default Graphics Driver" via Nvidia's Driver Manager.
