"Subject: Mavericks on MacPro 1,1
I sent in a report a few months ago about running Mountain Lion on a MacPro1,1. I updated the Chameleon boot loader (See Update below) to the latest version then the same method (install on 2011 MacBookPro, connect MBP to MacPro in Target Disk Mode, clone system to MacPro using Carbon Copy Cloner) to get a working Mavericks system. I had to edit the platformsupport.plist to include my board ID. (old Lion tip was delete it)
I'm still tinkering with it to get Messages and iCloud to work consistently but everything else seems to work.
