Download Nvidia CUDA 8.0.57 Update (supports macOS 10.12.2)
Info from the Dec. 15th CUDA 8.0.57 for Mac download page:
"New Release 8.0.57
  • CUDA driver update to support macOS 10.12 and NVIDIA display driver 367.15.10.25f01.
(The driver for Sierra 10.12.2 released Dec 14th)

    Supported MAC OS X 10.12.x and 10.11.x

An alternative method to download the latest CUDA driver is within Mac OS environment. Access the latest driver through System Preferences > Other > CUDA. Click 'Install CUDA Update' Supports all NVIDIA products available on Mac HW.

Note: this driver does not support the older generation GPUs with compute capability 1.x. To find out the compute capability of your GPU, consult the following links:
    https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CUDA."

  • Previous CUDA versions are available at Mac CUDA Drivers Archive.

  • The D/L page lists older CUDA v7.0.64, but link goes to current CUDA 8 version that does not list OS X 10.10.x support. Here's a link to the last (as of Dec. 15th) CUDA version that listed 10.10.x support - CUDA 7.5.30 from June 27th, 2016. (Hopefully it still works with this driver update.)

Nvidia Graphics Driver Update for macOS Sierra 10.12.2
(Dec. 14th) Download page for Nvidia Graphics Driver 367.15.10.25f01 for macOS Sierra 10.12.2 build 16C67. Here's info from the D/L page (other than version/builds, same info as previous releases):
    "CUDA Application Support:
In order to run macOS Applications that leverage the CUDA architecture of certain NVIDIA graphics cards, users will need to download and install a compatible CUDA driver. CUDA driver which supports macOS Sierra 10.12.2 will be available at a later date.
(Nvidia posted CUDA 8.0.57 on Dec. 15th with support for this driver.)

    New in Release 367.15.10.25f01:

  • Graphics driver updated for macOS Sierra 10.12.2 (16C67)
  • Contains performance improvements and bug fixes for a wide range of applications.
  • Includes NVIDIA Driver Manager preference pane.
  • Includes BETA support for iMac and MacBook Pro systems with NVIDIA graphics

    Release Notes Archive:
This driver update is for Mac Pro 5,1 (2010) users.
(2009 Mac Pro can run Sierra with the unofficial EFI 5,1 update)

    BETA support is for iMac 14,2 / 14,3 (2013), iMac 13,1 / 13,2 (2012) and MacBook Pro 11,3 (2013), MacBook Pro 10,1 (2012), and MacBook Pro 9,1 (2012) users."

  • I'd seen posts from CUDA 8.0.53 users showing a red "Update Required" in CUDA prefs after updating to 10.12.2, but they didn't appear to have updated to the new Nvidia web graphics driver for 10.12.2. I wondered if the CUDA message could be related to not finding a working nvidia graphics driver (broken by 10.2.2 update) - however a reader (rMBP) replied saying CUDA 8.0.53 still showed "Update Required" after installing the new Nvidia graphics driver for 10.12.2.
BTW: A reader and a post in Apple's forums said despite the "Update Required" with previous CUDA version, it still worked. (Per a CUDA benchmark IIRC.) I assume if using 10.12.2 the new graphics driver was installed.

(I've added new Nvidia driver and CUDA updates to the video topics page which has previous Nvidia driver updates for 10.12.1 (2 builds), 10.11.6, 10.10.5, 10.9.5, and the current and previous CUDA versions.)
