"New Release 6.5.14 CUDA driver 6.5.14 is required to work with CUDA 6.5 Toolkit.
(Nvidia corrected text above since original posting.)
An alternative method to download the latest CUDA driver is within Mac OS environment (If you installed Nvidia SW previously). Access the latest driver through System Preferences > Other > CUDA. Click 'Install CUDA Update'.
Supported Products:

The "Additional Information" tab has more installation info and direct link to CUDADriver-6.5.14-macos.dmg . (I don't have an Nvidia card installed in a Mavericks Mac to test these.) Searching today (8/22/2014) didn't find a later OS X Geforce/Quadro driver web page than the previous release in July.)
