"This driver does not support older generation GPUs with SM1.x. Please download the equivalent CUDA 6.5.45 which supports SM1.x"

Here's the download page for CUDA 6.5.45, which has this note on card support:

"This driver does not support GeForce GTX980 and GTX970. Please download the equivalent CUDA 6.5.46 which supports GeForce GTX980 and GTX970"

Hopefully no issues with support for the new 10.10.2 driver above.
(John K. later wrote he's using the update OK. His GT120 card uses CUDA 6.5.45)

FYI/Update: According to later reports, the CUDA update did not fix problems reported by Adobe Premiere CC users in this long thread on NVIDIA Card w/Yosemite & Premiere major graphics problems.
  

• A Yosemite forum post on Wednesday (Jan. 28th) said the OS X 10.10.2 Combo Updater has been revised with a change to the installer script version check. And the D/L page is now dated Jan. 28th (was 27th). (Early reports on the original Combo updater noted it would not install over OS X 10.10.1.)
