Bugs fixed in version 5.6.1:
• Incorporates revised SMART over USB drivers. The changes fix the bug which caused Drobo devices to be unavailable when SMART support for USB and FireWire devices was enabled.
  
  
• Fixed a bug in the build script which occasionally caused SoftRAID Easy Setup to fail with an error on Mac OS 10.12.
  
  Known Bugs:
• There's a bug in the Mac OS 10.12, Sierra, version of Apples' Disk Utility which can cause a kernel panic when you try to erase a SoftRAID disk. We recommend using the SoftRAID application to zero a SoftRAID formatted disk before creating a volume on it with Apple's Disk Utility. (You only need to zero the first and last 100 sectors.)
  
  
• There's a bug in Mac OS 10.12, Sierra, which causes SoftRAID volumes to not be displayed in the "Storage" tab of the "About this Mac" window.

As of post time, Apple Remote Desktop app is still v3.9 from Feb 21, 2017.
(FYI: From Tips page here, how-to Uninstall or disable Remote Desktop was archived (Jul 26, 2016). Some have asked how to do this in the past but not sure it still works with current macOS versions.)
